Kundalini Yoga (for men + women)

My first yoga class was more than 20 years ago when I was living in New York, USA. After that, I have tried various forms of yoga around the world. Until the moment, 10 years ago, I attended a Kundalini Yoga class in the city center of Amsterdam. I was in love.
Kundalini energy is a vitality, creativity, and vibrant.
Kundalini yoga is called the yoga of awareness. As you practice, this energy becomes awakened within you. Kundalini yoga combines postures, breathwork, hand positions, sound, and eye focus to produce a powerful experience and a shift in mind, body, and spirit.
In a class, together we tap into your inner vitality and wisdom,  so you experience the centering and healing power of Kundalini yoga and meditation right away. 
The result, waking up full of lovely energy and looking forward to a new day (no longer intrigued with the worry, unknown fears or anxiety that weigh you down)

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. There is evidence that yoga Nidra helps to relieve stress. 
We reach a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and you become systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness is different from meditation, in which concentration on a single focus is required.

When women gather, magic occurs.  

I would love to invite you, to the intimate cozy women circle in Studio Java, where we get to know each other, share, laugh together, share emotions and work with various meditations and practices to deepen into our precious bodies.
Our aim is to gather like in ancient times. In a sacred
 and loving space, we each bring our magic into the circle and let all that would flow to the surface. 
We travel deep into our bodies and emotions and in alignment with higher vibrations and all that shows up at the moment.

QI KUNG 


Our QI Kung classes are not for the fainthearted, we will meet the elements where they are, all classes will be taught outside, no matter the weather conditions. We will do powerful Iron shirt Qi Kung when the weather invites a powerful Qi, and soft, gentle and loving when the wind is calm. You will learn to activate full-body strength and to raise your body temperature in the cold air, with breath and bandhas (locks in the body)

Hatha Yoga

Our Hatha yoga classes are for beginners and experienced yogis. Our classes will vary from class to class and will have themes of rejuvenation, core stability, strength, alignment, pelvis, and backbends.

Sadhana

An important part of Kundalini Yoga is the Aquarian Sadhana like it has been given by Yogi Bhajan. Maybe you have heard of this phenomenon, but what exactly is it and why in God's name would you get up so early in the morning!?
Sadhana basically means a daily spiritual practice and occurs in a lot of traditions. Every tradition uses Sadhana in its own way.
Yogi Bhajan gave us Kundalini Yogis the Aquarian Sadhana, a practice of 2,5 hours long to practice every single day from 04.30 am until 07.00 am. This length of the Sadhana isn't random and falls right in line with the laws of Karma, everything you give, you will get back in tenfold. So, if you - in the early morning before you interact with the rest of the world and others - give yourself to your higher consciousness for 2,5 hours you will receive this energy back during the rest of the day. The early start of this practice has to do with the angle of the sun in relation to the earth, dawn is ideal for meditation. There is a lot of Prana (life energy) present in the atmosphere, and in the early morning, the rhythm of your body supports the physical cleansing way better. Next to that, most people will still be asleep during that time, which means that you can practice your practice in peace, without busy traffic, laptops, and phones... It's unique, and you're High On Life after this practice! Everybody should try it! Sadhana consists of 3 parts: reading Mantra, Yoga and Mantra Sing Meditation with live music! An experience you will never forget!

This is a 'must-do' yoga for all women! Well actually for the ones who want to fully live, receive and be free! Our beautiful bodies are in severe need of this treatment, experience natural flow, ultimate freedom and health. Our body deserves really more attention. It is time for Divine Action to #timetoshine.

The focus of Sensual Yoga is on the pelvic area, womb, and yoni. We work with traditional Ancient Indian Yoga poses, sensual movements, and beautiful Indian (dynamic) meditations. This class is for you when you want to embrace your authentic power more, when you want to experience more sensation and flow in your body, and when you want to feel more sensual in general.

Well, if you want to be more alive and kicking in life then this is your call!

Sacred Union : Yoga & Meditation for Couples 

 

Dit is een hele bijzondere les. Samengesteld om je geliefde en jou op een nieuwe manier met elkaar te verbinden. In dit prachtige volle leven dreigen partners elkaar makkelijk kwijt te raken. Je hebt het allebei druk met werk en social events. Wanneer heb je elkaar voor het laatst echt aangekeken en tijd voor elkaar genomen?
Wij vrouwen weten wat yoga ons kan brengen, dat het helpt om dichter bij jezelf te komen en heerlijk te ontspannen. In deze les zetten we yoga en meditatie in om te kunnen verdiepen in de relatie.
De Yoga & Meditatie les voor koppels is de perfecte les om mannen te laten ervaren wat yoga inhoudt en wat het met je kan doen. Het is de ideale manier om binnen no time te verbinden met elkaar. Tijdens de les doen we verschillende venus kriya's  (yoga postures voor koppels) en meditaties die je dichter bij elkaar brengen, de energie laat stromen en zelfs nieuwe vlinders kan veroorzaken.
Dus wil jij weer diep in de ogen van je partner kijken, verbinden met de man/vrouw waar je van houdt, kan jouw relatie wel een extra boost gebruiken?
